Just introduced myself to Elisa and Amber Rhea and talked a bit about BlogHer ’08 (I’m TOTALLY volunteering).

Called home to check on the Three Tiny Terrors and managed to miss the beginning of the next session (whups?) so I’ll g’head and upload what pics I have to my flickr stream. Fair warning, these are absolutely unedited pics, so I do NOT want to hear about quality. Got it?

Anil Dash was to have been here but had a flight cancellation. In addition, the moderator is “under the weather” (or…under the Green Burro) and has been replaced.

Ruby just defined social networking, a lot of good key terms (you never escape from vocabulary lessons. Even as an adult.), and generally laid a good foundation for the rest of the segment.

Soni did well considering she was a) at the Green Burro last night, and b)found out last night at 8 that she was going to be sitting in for Anil. (talk about some shoes to fill!!!)

Elisa? Thank you SO MUCH for agreeing with my personal philosophy – social networking really needs a purpose. (Cuz I know, we’re totally best friends right? *heh*) I’m not interested in social networking just so I can say “I’ve got so-and-so on my friendslist”.

Low battery. Must find an outlet. Back in a bit!

Late to the morning presentation, but not horribly so.

Elisa Camahort is presenting on “Changing your world with Blogs” and is a wonderful speaker. And? BlogHer2008 is coming to Greensboro. WOOHOO! I’m a happyassed mama right now.

I realized I didn’t tag my posts from yesterday, doing that now.

Jason Calacanis twittered his phone number and said “not sure if the phone works”

30 seconds later his phone rang. It was Robert Scoble.

He’s taken 5 calls since then, had I don’t know HOW many voicemails, and possibly hired a programmer.

Nothing like visible of proof of concept…

I should’ve gone to Billy’s “We Don’t Need No Titles” presentation on how to title your entries to hook readers.

Instead I got to listen to an entire hours worth of stuff I already know.

Michele? It’s your fault!

CaraMichele just left.
