Sick, sick, sick.

  • Posted on February 25, 2009 at 10:40 am

It seems like we’ve caught every.single.bug out there this year. Not only are the boys bringing stuff home from school, but they are then swapping illness like pokemon cards – each trying to whip out something stronger that will win the battle.

And of course (as we all know) not only does love grow in little houses, but germs create a stunning pas de deux

and then one of the germs starts playing the banjo

and they decide to do a do-si-do

as the rest of the germs stomp in time to the music, square dancing their way through the rest of the family.

And on that note, I’m going back to bed. Y’all be good.

America’s Most Wired Cities: Raleigh, NC??!!??

  • Posted on January 15, 2008 at 7:59 pm

Read the Forbes.com article here.

Raleigh is #3 on their list, which is calculated by:

the percentage of Internet users with high-speed access, the range of service providers within a city and the availability of public wireless hot spots.

The article is careful to point out the constantly-shifting nature of the data they used and just exactly how….strange…it is that southern cities top the list.

Long live cultural/regional stereotypes. Please, let me get out my banjo and start playing the theme to Deliverance.
