We've postponed Christmas a few years, too. I usually stayed up into the wee hours, making things for them so under the tree wouldn't be quite so bare. Any storebought stuff had to wait. It sucks but, in the grand scheme of things, it's not a biggie. This year, no money for gifts until hubby gets his bonus... at some point in December. So we may or may not have Christmas on time. But at least we'll have a Christmas so we're doing better than a lot of folks. Been there, done that. We’ve postponed Christmas a few years, too. We're letting him know about the wish list (we have a mutual "if you hear anything from Emily, tell me" agreement going on). If it's okay with you, it would mean a lot to our daughter to be able to send you her copy of Scribblenaughts. She wants to contribute that to your boys' holiday. I totally understand wanting to be private online -- I am the same way. But I'm trying to figure out how to get your address so we can mail it to you from up here in PA. I've tried several recipes like that and can't stand them. Too sweet and fluffy-tasting. My fave recipe is 3 cups dry milk, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, and 3/4 cup sugar. Easy peasy and more to my taste buds' liking. Now we don't drink any of it, though. I need to come up with a new recipe to suit our current eating habits. Ew.
