What do you do to make yourself feel better when you are sick?
Honestly that depends on the sickness. For a cold, I wrap up in my favorite blanket and sit in the recliner with a stack of flannel hankies and my laptop. If it’s an upset stomach, I’ll stay on my bed and/or camp out in my bathroom.
What is the most amazing weather you’ve ever seen?
That would be the low-grade hurricane that came through Florida when we lived there. Although I’ve seen quite a few hurricanes living in North Carolina, by the time they get to me the bands have degraded quite a bit. It’s more like a severe thunderstorm. When we were in Florida, it rained like crazy for about 20 minutes, then the sun came out and normal life resumed – until the next band hit an hour later. Watching the line of rain move across a parking lot was amazing.
Do you listen to music or talk radio in the car?
Music. The kids drown out talk radio.
