Ask me anything.

Does anyone still read here?

Please accept my humble apologies. I can’t seem to find a topic to write coherently about. So….

Ask me anything.

Heh.

I know, there will be zero comments. Heh.

  • Is a rum cake the same thing as a pound cake but with rum added or is it different altogether? :-)

    how are you feeling?

    • I’m mostly OK. I’ll be having an awesome day, then drive by a place that would need Daddy’s business and start to think “I should tell him….” and then fall apart.

That whole 7 stages of grief thing? Yeah, it’s pretty much a crock. They’ve started printing “you may not experience all stages” on websites.
One size fits all means that nobody gets fit *well*

I’m still working for now – my job does not require a lot of thought/analysis. I did stop going to class because it made my head all explodey. I can’t/couldn’t concentrate on what I was reading, would get frustrated, and shredded I can’t tell you how much work because it upset me so.

ok, you asked me to ask, so here goes:

why is it that on those days when everything just sucks — everything — a bowl of steamy macaroni and cheese can make it all better for a while? and why can’t we make a huge bowl, or just a bunch of small ones, and feed the whole world all at once? [world peace...]

    love you.

p.s. and also, will ___________ ever stop being an addict?

p.p.s. let’s hug. and drink red wine. soon.

cms last blog post..It’s not over yet

    • Because a full tummy releases all kinds of happy feel-gooood hormones in your body that makes you cozy and warm and able to say “wow that’s not as much of a problem as I thought it would be”.

And we can’t feed the whole world because the lacto-ovo vegetarians would refuse to eat it (cheese and eggs) and the frutarians would refuse to eat it because it didn’t fall to the ground, and the bulimics would just sick it back up….you get the idea.

      Love you too.

And no, _______ will never stop being an addict and you know it.

Ok mac-n-cheese used to make it all better, until I became lactose intolerant….. So now it’s Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, which unfortunately doesn’t whip up as fast.

What are your plans for Christmas, what are the kids likely to get?

    • The plans are the same as they are every Christmas – stay home and relax. We don’t do the insane travelling thing anymore. I honestly don’t know what the kids are getting. I keep teasing my daughter with dreams of a PS3 and a new TV for her room but that’s mostly a tease.

I’m actually having trouble reading your page. A while back everything started doubling and being off set making it impossible to read. Then I didnt’ have my comp for a while and didn’t have the link.

But I still try to read and think about ya. Hope things are going okay and The Teen isn’t giving you too much trouble.

    • Catherine, I’m sorry you’re having such a time reading my site. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to duplicate your issue, so I don’t quite know how to tell you to fix it.
