My brain is bubbling burbling bursting with ideas

not just for blog posts, but about my “life” on the internet as well.

I just spent two days with people who not only “get” this whole blogging thing, but are interested in making it (harder better faster stronger) work. “On Fire” is not quite the correct phrase – I’m not being consumed by a burning desire to blow the top off the web, but. BUT. it’s becoming more and more obvious to me that I need to be doing more than I am. The question is…in what way??!!?? I’ve done (and am doing) the message board thing. There’s no time left for me to do a podcast, unless I keep the topics really super-general and put 10 or so in the can and toss ‘em up (eew.)

As I sat in Raleigh, waiting for Holly’s flight to land (45 minute delay) all I could think of was Jason Calacanis demonstrating the power of social networking and now nice it’d be to do something similar. Killing an hour in an unfamiliar town is murder on the psyche, especially when you don’t know where the free wireless is! (And and? when you know you’re missing good food and good company it gets a little forlorn. Just a smidge.)

The last of my pics are uploading now. The laundry room is piled high, the livingroom looks like it wants to be hit by a tornado (because then it might just get clean again), and I think it’s time for me to stare at the ceiling and work out this plan for myself.
