My 12-year-old stepson doesn't like to read, so we spent a good amount of money on Switched-On Schoolhouse for him to fail most of it because he went straight to the testing without reading the assignment. Go figure. Hopefully, my 2-year-old daughter (who already knows how to work the DVD player, BTW) will be more computer-savvy and self-directed. Ah, the joy of homeschooling. After discovering the damage to their CDs, I started going through my own collection. Fortunately, they haven't discovered the secret stash.
