I have an appointment on Monday with a local group that helps low-income families become first-time home buyers. This would go a long LONG way towards resolving some of our crowding problems.
Hopefully (oh please dear universe god and everyone else) I’ll be able to buy THIS place and we won’t have to actually move.
Hey, how did it go? I’m going to have to do that one day as well…I’m interested in learning about the process though.
The meeting went well. We went over my credit report (a few minor discrepancies, but my credit is good) crunched a few numbers, and talked about how much house I can afford. They scheduled me for their workshop next Monday, so I’ll post a more full update on the process then.
