Trip #1: the newfangled “Thinstrips” and ibuprofen liquid $20
Trip #2: for the old standby pseudoephedrine when thinstrips fail miserably: $7
Trip #2.5: to the pharmacy across the street when pharmacy #1 doesn’t carry Sudafed liquid (childrens OR adults)
Trip #3: Battery for our “earmometer”, saline nasal spray, earmometer covers – $10
2 yards of flannel from the stash turned into snotrags: okay, I’m not even gonna calculate this one because let’s face it – the boys are WELL beyond the “fuzzy sheep” stage.
PLUS one Dr. office visit to get the official diagnosis of “congestion-related pinkeye.”
PLUS I can’t tell you how many hours of sitting in the rocking recliner at 2am (sinuses drain easier when you’re sitting up, y’know)
PLUS at least 4 classes missed. I’m so far behind on sleep and reading that….well I’m not going to think about that right now.
ugh … sounds like a suckage.
but yeah, best to just cut your losses and move on. screw school! hehe.
