Today my family will be celebrating our freedom (from dirt) by scrubbing the livingroom, and our freedom (from clutter) by putting every single unplayed-with toy in a bag for donation.
We spent the night listening to (and being afraid of) the neighbors setting off their firecrackers and cherry bombs and what sounded like gunfire. A good time was decidedly NOT had by all in my house.
I’ve been around, but there’s not a lot to talk about. I’ve been reading and doing various crochet projects – trying to use up my yarn stash.
The realization hit me a few weeks ago that I haven’t seen a dr in nearly 2 years, eye dr in 3, and I have/had dental work needing to be done. Therefore, I have appointments out the wazoo. New glasses frames (YAY!), 5 new fillings (replacing old/corroded ones), 1 wisdom tooth extraction, and I still have to see the GP.
Did I mention my white-coat paranoia?
