A while back, someone started a thread on Mama Drama asking for pregnancy pics. I finally found Alannah’s, and so the chain is complete (thus far). Trek with me, if you will….and watch my belly expand (and expand)
First and foremost – the obligatory PRE-KIDS shot. I honestly don’t remember *when* this pic was taken, but I’m guessing I was between the ages of 18 and 20. (And diiiig those funky Sally Jesse tinted glasses, dude. GAH!)
Then, at the ripe old age of 22, Alannah came my way. This was taken the day before she was born. A better photo DOES exist, but it doesn’t seem to want to surface. I gained 80 pounds with this pregnancy due to an overly-cautious PA who told me “go to work, sit down. Go home, sit down. Don’t lift anything heavier than 10 lbs.” Alannah weighed 7 lbs, 13 oz at birth.
Next up, we have Daniel. He was an incredibly active baby, and I spent most of the pregnancy with bruised ribs. He weighed 7 lbs 14 1/2 oz, but was 21 inches long.
And last, but most certainly not least, we have Joseph. He was/is my largest baby, weighing in at 9 pounds at birth, and also 21 inches long. If you care all that much about fashion, you’ll notice that I’m wearing the same freakin shorts in both Dan and Joe’s pics. I wish somebody’d told me what they looked like! (Although I don’t know if I’d've dumped ‘em)
