Anyone wanna cuddle?

The heater is out. AGAIN. Part won’t be in til Monday. Space heaters are our friends.

Did I mention it’s sposed to be cold and rainy all weekend?

I know I’ve been horrible lately about updating. I don’t know if it’s going to get worse once I actually start a “real” job again. Honestly, there’s been nothing going on. I read a few books, play with the kids, and do laundry. You know – housewifey stuff. Yippee.

Y’know, I haven’t muttered in a while.

More good news :-|

Mom thinks she’s got bursitis in her shoulder. Dad thinks she’s torn her rotator cuff. I was planning on taking the boys to see Granny, but I don’t want to leave Mom here alone and unable to drive.

I’m on the hunt for books to read. I was working on a crochet lap blanket, but it’s aggravating my arm. Wintertime brain atrophe has set in. Homeschooling is suffering from the doldrums too – there just aren’t that many “field trips” that we feel like taking in the cold.

Proof of life

I’m not dead! Ain’t it wunnerful? Things have been a little crazy around here. *I* have been a little crazy around here.

Mama-Drama is back off the ground again and I’m nearly through tweaking it. It took a while for the domain re-pointing to go through because of communications issues. I wish I could get paid for all the online stuff I do…I’d be RICH!

The kids are well, but we’re all in the doghouse for not going to see Granny for Christmas. Mom didn’t want to go for the holiday itself, so she rescheduled for New Years. Then the boys got snotty noses, so we stayed home and the folks went to see her.

Mom’s working through the first week in February. I have til then to get my ducks in a row, find some work clothes, and do some creative writing resume enhancement writing.

Sadly enough, that’s all the news.
