But unfortunately, that’s all the “big” stuff going on around here.
This would be why I haven’t written anything. The furnace is STILL broken. I’m STILL looking for a job, and the pressure is on from the folks. I STILL haven’t had a date. Hell, I can’t even get people to talk on the phone – with few exceptions. Oh, and I just found out Mom’s dryer is non-operational. Good thing mine is plugged in at the “storage” trailer.
A guy who used to date my best friend back in high school is getting divorced and is “available” again and calling me. Didn’t want him then, don’t want him now – pretty much for the exact same reasons. He hasn’t changed a whole lot in 15 years. Unfortunately, his general attitude is pretty much what I’m finding. Everyone wants a piece of ass and that’s it. Or they SAY that’s not all they want, but it’s all they talk about.
I guess I should just concentrate on my kids and my upcoming job.
