That’s all I want for them.
Comment spammers.
A special place, where I can cheerfully roast marshmallows over their bodies.
I’ve been helping a friend with her blog hosting service. Through my misunderstanding of MT-Blacklist and how it works, things got out of hand in the comment department. OK, “out of hand” is a bit of an understatement:
Blog A has 152 entries and 956 comments.
Blog B has 329 entries and 1659 comments.
Blog C has 25 entries and 156 comments.
These are the current numbers AFTER I’ve worked nearly the day through, cleaning up the database that seems to be running on nearly-dead rodent power. Biggest hindrance to my work? I can only delete 5 comments at a time. Otherwise, the database pukes on me.
BAH!
Think I’ll talk to her about converting everyone over to WordPress.
1230AM update:
Blog A – down to 556 comments
Blog B – 1116
Blog C – 108
So no matter HOW frustrated I get, I can see progress.
3PM Friday update:
Blog A – 64
Blog B – 344
Blog C – 6
wow, and I thought I had a comment spammer problem. I won’t bug you no more I promise!
PLEASE bug me with it! 99% of the problem is that you’re the only one who complained – I had ABSOLUTELY no idea it was this bad!
