the earth just sucks. Why?
1. I was just informed by my dear daddy that when mom retires in December, I WILL go to work, and my daughter WILL go to public school (as opposed to being homeschooled as she is now).
2. (I’m really not surprised about this but) I haven’t heard from Joe’s father yet regarding terminating his parental rights. I have mixed feelings about this – they are:
- I don’t want anything else to do with this man.
- If he actually *does* step up, it’s going to take a lot of work on both our sides to make sure they have some semblance of a relationship.
- I think it’s a damn shame that a 40-year-old man has to be TOLD by someone else to step up.
3. My daughter asked me to let her go to public school. Why? So she can have recess and lunch. Of all the screwed up things I’ve heard in the last few days, this one is the worst.
4. I freaked out on a friend online. He is a new friend, and had absolutely no idea what was going on. It had everything to do with all of the above, and -0- to do with him. I’ve emailed and apologized, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I never hear from him again.
5. My computer is once again FUBARed. I lost my USB ports. Why is this a big deal? I have over 100 photos on my camera that I can’t download, and I’m worried that I’m going to lose them.
There is more to add to this list, but it’s the daily drudgery stuff that happens every day.
